Merry Christmas from NT Killingley
Everyone at NT Killingley would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas and say a big thank you for your support throughout 2017.
We will be shutting down from Fri 22nd December 2017 and will reopen on Thurs 4th January 2018.
Before we sign off for the year we have to say that 2017 has been a fantastic year for us. The projects we have worked on from small to large have all been special in their own way and have allowed our teams to put in their own seal of quality into them. Along the way we have strengthened relationships with existing clients and nurtured new ones with customers who will become firm features in the coming years.
One of our highlights of the year was the construction of the 'Garden for a Changing Climate' for the Royal Horticultural Society at the inaugural RHS Chatsworth Flower Show this summer. The garden was visited by over 100,000 people and formed the centrepiece of the show.

The involvement in local projects such as the £400m Peak Resort and the initial stages of Basin Square at the Chesterfield Waterside development means a great deal to us. These projects will make a significant difference to the people of Chesterfield and the local economy for many years to come.
Our Charity of the Year for 2017 was Rhubarb Farm. An agriculture-based environmental social enterprise, based in Langwith, Rhubarb Farm provides a valuable service to the local community using a therapeutic organic horticulture model for developing skills, confidence, employability and for improving health and well-being. As part of our commitment, we provided much needed raw materials to enable the farm to grow and provide opportunities for those i helps on a daily basis. In addition we have helped our staff raise around £10,000 for some wonderful charities with the help of the NT Killingley match funding scheme.
To round up the year the hard work and dedication of all our staff was recognised with 2 BALI awards including a Principal Award for a Private Residence in the Domestic Soft Landscaping, Unlimited Cost category. We look forward to a new year moving from strength to strength.
