Project Overview

14,000m² of precision paving at the heart of York’s most significant regeneration site

The York Central development is a major regeneration project, creating a high-quality, accessible pedestrian route through one of the city’s most significant sites. The works enhance connectivity while providing a durable and visually appealing public realm.

Killingley was appointed on behalf of John Sisk to deliver concrete bases, kerbing, paving and grouting, laying approximately 14,000m² of paving to form a robust pedestrian corridor through the development.

The precision paving, kerbs and grouting ensure long-term durability and ease of maintenance, supporting safe pedestrian movement. Killingley’s works contribute to a functional, high-quality public space that complements the broader York Central regeneration and enhances the city’s urban environment.
