Project Overview

A critical clinical facility, set in a high-quality environment

The Derby Kingsway Hospital new AAU/PICU building for Integrated Health Projects (IHP) sits within an active healthcare campus and required high-quality external works to complement a critical clinical facility.

The works included resin-bound surfacing, wetpour, paving, drainage, soiling, planting, and the installation of external furniture.

Resin and paved finishes were installed to tight tolerances, providing robust, slip-resistant surfaces with clean transitions between pedestrian routes and access points. Soft landscaping involved detailed soiling and precise planting works, enhancing visual quality and long-term sustainability. The installation of external furniture completed a cohesive, high-quality external environment.
