St Georges Close Student Accomodation - Sheffield

NT Killingley Earthworks department is happy to announce that they have secured a demolition and earthworks package for the St Georges Close Student Accommodation project in Sheffield.

 

“Situated on a car park in St George's Close and close to Sheffield University, the £15 million development will consist of 257 bedrooms.

 

Developers also argued that the new student accommodation will help to increase footfall, further enhancing connectivity in the area. It's hoped the additional footfall will also stimulate additional regeneration of the local vicinity.”

The project involves the demolition/removal of the existing car park, proposed earthworks, installation of retaining structures and pile foundations prior to erecting the 17-storey apartment block.

 

The  £55,000 project is due to last around 5 weeks from start to completion.
