Mountsorrel Ballast Rinsing Plant

NT Killingley Earthworks department is happy to announce securing a further scheme with Tarmac to undertake the enabling works at Mountsorrel Ballast Rinsing Plant.

The aim of the project is to improve and provide a suitable area that Tarmac are able to wash their quarried ballast material as it moves along their production line before use. 

The project involves site clearance of the full area, excavation & removal of peat material from below the proposed building platform, creation of a noise bund, installation of a flood compensation zone & a small cut to fill exercise. 

 

The £30,000 subcontract scheme is scheduled to be completed in 3 weeks.
